Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, operational support and reporting for GE Grid Solutions Italy.
Overlook OWC (AR-AP) providing estimate – analyze variance between estimate and actual
Lead initiative to drive OWC improvement
Provide cash management support for the unit in liaison with Ren/Corporate Treasury team
Act as focal point of Treasury activity (Hedging – Bank guarantee – LOC)
Manage factoring program for the legal entity in line with HQ guidance
Support/Perform AR/AP/Cash accounting processes providing guidance when necessary
Lead and manage vendor care program (Strategic supplier)
Support central COE in area of competence (AR-AP-Cash) as local point of reference
Being business partner to solve critical situation in area of competence
Manage manual payments in liaison with COE where required
Act as focal point for Electronic Invoice System
Support and execute month end process for area of competence
Drive and coordinate initiatives to simplify process in AR/AP/Cash area
Support HQ/Regional initiatives or implementation of new requirements in area of competence (e.g. IBS - ERP – COE – New Country Obligation
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college; with a minimum of 5 years progressively experience.
Expert knowledge of financial accounting and cost accounting. CPA / CPA candidates preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Fluency in Italian & English
