Summary About the position: This position is located at the Skills Development Center on Area F. Scheduled tour of duty will require evenings, weekends, and holiday work hours. 31st Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB. Responsibilities Performs over-the-counter selling of a variety of merchandise. Opens and closes cash registers, records sales and gives change, verifies and approves and deposits cashier's funds and balance sheet. Assists in merchandise selection and ordering process to include working with vendors, ordering and receiving merchandise, processing documents associated with ordering and receiving. Performs housekeeping duties in sales and storage areas. Experience in retail sales, merchandising, cash register operations, and inventory controls preferred. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit. Probationary period may be required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from hiring preferences and priority consideration eligible.
